Deepavali came with sweets crackers and a lot of fun. Mahila Mandiram family, old and young celebrated the festival with traditional gaiety. This was followed by International Children’s Day, on 14^th November. This was celebrated in a meaningful manner by inaugurating a children’s library and children’s park at Panchavadi. Young artist Kum.Nikhita inaugurated the library and shared her experiences with the girls. We are grateful to all our friends who donated books and play equipments towards this venture. In addition to the residents of Vatsalya, children of the neighourhood also will benefit by this activity.
