Our mission is to empower, educate both intellectually and emotionally and to rehabilitate the underprivileged women and girls by providing a nurturing and secure environment together with wise guidance.

Vision

Mahila Mandiram envisages a complete woman as an integral part of a developing society.

We do stand for the UNICEF statement in 1991 as “Non-Governmental Organization can contribute substantially by focusing attention on the girl child in their community based activities”.

Broadly, the aim of the Mahila Mandiram is to work for the betterment of women in every area of their life. More specifically, it provides shelter for poor women and orphan girls irrespective of religion and caste. It is concerned with care, education, empowerment and rehabilitation of needy girl children and women
